Overview

Using our evidence-based approach to mental health, we address the needs of your school or activity group, and your staff.

Our practical workshop uses routines, patterns and positive expectations, equipping staff with the neuroscience knowledge they need to look after their own wellbeing, as well as those they are supporting.

What’s included?

  • The Mental Health Continuum
  • Our Emotional Needs
  • Understanding sleep and depression
  • Barriers to meeting needs, and skills to overcome them
  • How to notice unmet needs in others
  • The impact of unmet needs on classroom or group behaviour
  • Skills and strategies to help normalise emotions and encourage hope

For primary and secondary schools, the workshop concludes with the creation of a Class Wellbeing Action Plan.

Secondary schools will also have a focus on teens and brain health.

A really interesting and informative session that has enabled me to support students more effectively in school and in everyday life.
