Julie Long
Fundraising Manager
Julie joined Suffolk Mind in May 2022. Prior to that she worked for many years within the new parent/families, primary school, and EYFS sectors across Suffolk, both as an educator and also as a strategist.
“I joined Suffolk Mind to support them in their mission. Fundraising is so vital to helping the charity to grow, and with the range of skills I bring from previous roles, I hope to lead with a creative, engaging and exciting fundraising programme which helps the community to meet their own needs whilst also supporting us with our fundraising aims.”
Gina Saunders
Community Engagement & Fundraising Officer
Gina joined Suffolk Mind in January 2024. Gina started her career in the charity sector in London working at Save the Children for 10 years. In 2016 she relocated to Suffolk with her family and worked at another local charity, Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS). Gina is passionate about making a difference having spent time building a nursery school from scratch in Malawi in her early 20s. In her spare time Gina looks after her two boys and rescue chickens, and tries to play netball once a week.
Charlotte Gammons
Challenge Coordinator & Fundraising Officer
Charlotte joined Suffolk Mind in April 2021, following a short career break after maternity leave. Prior to that she worked for Sue Ryder in Fundraising and Recruitment, having spent most of her career progressing to senior roles in the recruitment industry.
“I was thrilled to have the opportunity to join Suffolk Mind as I have a keen interest in mental health principles and awareness and enjoy sharing our message to our fundraisers and supporters. I am a naturally inquisitive person and take pleasure talking to different people in our Suffolk community, highlighting how their incredible efforts to support us can give a great deal back to them and the people in need around the county.”
