Sian-Rose Maguire
I will be cycling 100 miles (from the safety of my home) in just 10 days for Suffolk Mind. 2020 was an incredibly challenging year for everyone, the well-being of individuals mental health and physical health has become a key topic of discussion throughout all platforms, and hopefully this will remain going into the future and post-pandemic. Through 2020 I filled my time with exercise, managing to find a new passion, lose 2 stone and provide much needed self care and attention to my mental health.Â
I was also incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful family and friends who helped me through very difficult days, however there are many who face mental health issues alone and/or suffer in silence. I am cycling 100 miles for those who need extra support, who rely on services that Mind offer and for everyone who faces mental health issues everyday. Setting a goal of just £100, even if this helps a single person make it through one day, receiving the services and support they need, that’s one more person who doesn’t have to struggle on their own.Â
£75 raised and counting
Keep up the momentum and let’s see how much more we can raise.
