So this is my 100 Mile Blues.Â
I’ll be combining my weird love of walking with my big love of the blues, during every walk I will be listening to full albums by bluesy/bluegrass/countryish artists – old and new (any suggestions would be great)Â
In an ideal non-covid world I would be walking to Lowestoft and back (that would be an actual challenge!) but instead I’ll do lots of mini walks mixed in with some bigger ones near and around the good ole town of Bury St Edmunds and then pretend it was hard work. There is no time limit but I’ll be as quick as I can!Â
Over the past few months I have seen first-hand how underfunded and overworked our mental health services are, help can only be given when a person is at breaking point. People are being let down and the government are to blame. Charities such as Mind are paramount in providing support for people who are struggling and since Boris isn’t planning on sharing out the pennies to something so vitally important then I guess we’ll have to do it ourselves (Eh Captain Tom?) So please donate millions of pounds so I can get a Damehood and finally get my number 1 hit single.Â
Failing that, a quid and a faceybook like will do
Thank youÂ
