Running has helped me massively with my own mental health over the last year, it’s something that gets me out of the house, gives me time to reflect on my thoughts and makes me feel so proud as I can prove to myself that I’m capable of doing hard things. Another reason I want to support this charity is because I’ve realised just how many people could really benefit from their help, I take a lot of mental health calls working for 111 and have spent a lot of time connecting with these people, it’s often a listening ear and someone who they feel comfortable to speak to that they need the most.
